There are millions of bays across the all continents and it’s quite hard to decide which ones are most beautiful, but here is the our subjective list influenced by media and famousness.

10. Bay of Fundy

Home to some of the highest tides in the world, the Bay of Fundy is a 270km long ocean bay that stretches between the provinces of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia on Canada’s east coast.
The bay offers amazing tides, which are best watched from the Hopewell Rocks.

9. Paradise Bay

Located in the icy Antarctic, it is one of Antarctica’s most visited places, and also one of only two places visited by cruise ships. It offers also some activities, so you won’t get bored during your stay.

8. Bay of Islands

This Bay is one of New Zealand’s main attractions. There are 144 islands; many secluded bays and some great sandy beaches to enjoy as well as an amazing marine life including whales, penguins, dolphins and the big marlin.

7. Bay of Kotor

Located in the South West of Montenegro this beautiful bay is sometimes mistaken for a fjord. This submerged river canyon offers beautiful beaches as well as picturesque towns.

6. Phang Nga Bay

Phang Nga Bay is one of the most beautiful places in Thailand. The main attraction of the bay is a needle formed limestone rock called Ko Ping Kan (better known as James Bond Island) which was a filming location in the James Bond movie “The Man with the Golden Gun”.

Aside from being one of the major attractions of Hong Kong it is also one of the deepest container ports in the world. One of the busiest harbours in the world, it also offers an amazing view on Hong Kong’s skyscrapers and shoreline.

This harbour is located in one of the most beautiful cities in the world: Sydney. The harbour greatly contributes to the beauty of Sydney with its hundreds of bays, coves, beaches and waterways and not to forget the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge.

2. Guanabara Bay

Located in Brazil the Guanabara Bay is home to tropical forests, beaches, strangely-shaped rocks, the high mountains of Serra do Marl and the neighbourhoods of Rio de Janeiro.

The bay offers thousands of islands each topped with thick jungle vegetation, forming a spectacular seascape of limestone pillars.
